My Red Balloon is a group exhibition of 40 artists, each creating their own red balloon.
Curated by Garfield Of London in association with the Experimental Art Rising collective (EAR).
We gave artists a dedicated space to tell their stories, share their work, and connect directly with people who love what they make. Every practice is different. Every point of view adds something to the picture.
The task was set, to create their vision of a Red Balloon, and what it could mean. Hopes & dreams, the things in life you love, pleasures and pain. A set of suggestions were listed as a guide, but we encouraged the scope to go much further.
What the artists came back was astounding, and our goal was simple: help great work find the people who will live with it, love it, and keep looking at it.
